Tending Shop

This is such a normal view of Japan that I thought it’d be worth seeing. I took this near Hachioji Station on a pedestrian shopping area nearby. Some of the shopkeepers were standing just outside their shops (probably enjoying the cool, bright evening after the rain). In the background you can see the shopkeeper and family in my previous post.

It’s been cool for over a week now, and tonight we pulled a quilt out of the closet. It appears that summer has passed, and I’m grateful. Now if winter will just delay a bit so we can enjoy the best weather of the year. Please.
