Waiting for Customers

Waiting for Customers

I had some time yesterday to take photos on the *Shoutengai* (shopping strip) in Asagaya. Here’s a fun shop of a man and women (maybe husband and wife) waiting for customers in a salty snack shop. This *shoutengai* has an older, traditional feeling. Each little shop has it’s own specialty: stationary, snacks, meat, electronics, cloth, etc. As I walked along I noticed that when there are no customers in the store, the people working often (not always) wait with their full attention fixed forward ready to greet the next person who came inside.

BTW, I’ve had mighty few comments lately. Is there something wrong with the comment feature? If so, drop me an email. Happy Friday!
